Restaurant - DIE QUADRIGA
In OROFINO wooden paneling made from American cherry trees and aquamarine walls richly contrast the linear form of the Bauhaus period: chairs by Frank Lloyd Wright (design 1904), porcelain by Trude Petri (KPM Berlin),
Art-Deco silverware (Robbe & Berking) - framed in the Expressionism of Lovis Corinth.
KÖNIGSSTUHL - Renaissance, rococo and classicism - a journey in time.
The walls are decorated opulently with stucco, dazzlingly lit by a chandelier recalling the times of
Frederick the Great, forming the right setting for the commanding series of the red painting
by the Spanish artist, Salustiano.
QUADRIGA Lounge
Modern design goes hand-in-hand with age-old Prussia - the inner courtyard from the era of the last German emperor has been newly done over.
The sofas and armchairs were manufactured by Edra, Moroso, Donghia and Flexform, the handmade tables from nut wood, apple-green Bisazza glass mosaic on the extraordinary bar,
lamp creations by Materialise and Tobias Grau, modern lighting design. Bronze statues by Dieter Finke. |
