The restaurant’s wine menu rightly bears the name TREASURE TROVE OF GERMAN WINES. A culinary prize-winner year after year, it is unequivocally committed to the best German vineyards. Choose from 850 wines: more than 450 Rieslings, 120 Spätburgunders, Silvaners, Traminers, Weissburgunder varieties as well as several spectacular new stars.
Traditionally put together – and able to stand up to international comparison – it guides you through all great wineries and regions of the country. The complexities of the terroir is always comprehensible, the artisan innovations reflect the pulse of our time and the reputation, world-wide, of the individual collections.
To name a few, the Steinberger Monopollage (a location exploited exclusively by one vintner) is represented with wines from the great years of 1976, 1959, 1937, 1911 and even back to 1897.
The famous harvests from the houses of Egon Müller and J.J. Prüm present themselves with
some of the century’s best years: 1976, 1971 and 1959. And the superb Burgunder varieties of
the Baden region collection are listed back into the 80s.
Selecting the best wines is an on-going task and in order to keep up with the most important trends and rapid development in this sector, Brandenburger Hof is represented at all of the important auctions.
Our wine journey offers an array of surprises, supplying new or forgotten aromas – surrender to an uncomplicated delight and abandon yourself to the magnificence of the vine. |
