The Culinary Journey
Day one
A picnic basket is provided to be enjoyed on the trip to Rügen. During the reception on board we serve Krug Champagne and sun-ripened strawberries; then a light lunch and afternoon tea.
The evening begins with a cocktail reception, followed by a five course gala dinner to spoil the
taste buds – this is Bobby Bräuer’s award-winning QUADRIGA cuisine at its best, of course accompanied by specially selected wines. Dinner is concluded with a choice of vintage whisky
and specially sourced cheese.
Day two
Morning tea in bed. For breakfast scrambled eggs with shrimps, followed by aromatic coffee and delectable, freshly baked pastries. During the day enjoy oysters and champagne, shrimps (self-shelled if possible!) mussels in white wine and ‘Labskaus’, a Hanseatic specialty. The evening is crowned with a ‘proper’ barbeque: the main ingredient is grilled lobster.
Day three
Once again tea in bed, then breakfast with fresh waffles and traditional sandwiches. As a culinary farewell Bobby Bräuer prepares an unforgettable Bouillabaisse for lunch. An exquisite part of the journey - Bubbling gems for the most refined of palates. The culinary indulgences during the ‘Tour de surprise’ are accompanied exclusively by the Champagnes of the House of KRUG, crafted from prestige cuvées and having received unparalleled reviews worldwide. Part of this extraordinary palette and for you to enjoy will be the Grande Cuvée, the Vintage 1996 and the fabulous Rosé. Santé!
