HOPPITY, HOPPITY, HOP
Right next to the manor house, in the old village school, you can discover two hundred years of nurturing, history-making and story-telling. Lord of the Manor Hans-Jürgen Thiedig and curator Claus-Peter Jörger have brought an old passion to life and, with great attention to detail, created one of Brandenburg’s few toy museums. Dolls, tin cars and wooden animals are waiting to carry off the young and the old, those both large and small, on a voyage into childhood. And afterwards surely everyone will look forward to enjoying a slice of delicious cake and a cup of hot chocolate in the museum café.
Incidentally: at the end of 2010 the only tin plate railway still in operation track 0 was installed on the museum’s upper floor. As if that isn’t a reason enough for an outing!
