BIODYNAMICS FROM THE MOSEL
Pünderich – at the outset of the Terassenmosel – is the home of new star vintner Clemens Busch. Quiet and reserved, he is the very opposite of his wine: where he holds back, his Riesling speaks a powerful language of intensive minerals, depth and elegance. Biodynamically grown, these Grosse Gewächse unfold their maturity in every way with highest levels of sustainability. So go ahead and lay down a few bottles!
Our wine journey on 29 December 2013 takes us through the finest Clemens Busch vineyards: Marienburg, Falkenlay, Fahrlay and Rothenpfad, with their distinctive terroir of various slate soils and microclimates. We can look forward to a vertical sampling of various vintages to accompany each course from our grand QUADRIGA cuisine. To top it all - the event will be held in the newly opened Berggruen Museum ... complete with Picasso, Klee and Matisse as illustrious company.
This wine evening marks the start of our New Year's programme and is included for guests booking the full festive arrangement.
