BY LAND, BY WATER AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Have you seen the Peacock Island (Pfaueninsel) in Wannsee, or the green meadow just behind Charlottenburg Palace? The Haus am Waldsee, perhaps? The steps in front of the Victoria memorial? If not, it doesn’t matter at all, because the less famous these places are, the more beautiful our picnic will be.

Plaid blankets and colourful pillows are waiting for you, along with baskets full of ice-chilled wine, and from our kitchen we will bring a host of delicacies that taste better outside than in: chicken and meatballs, sweet things from the patisserie, exquisite salmon, delicate pâtés and countless other fine provisions.

No less beautiful is the cruise along the river Spree on one of the city’s elegant private boats: The Royal Louise – the historical sail boat full of history, Aida – from the fleet of the royal Yachtclub in Stockholm, Metamera – which even sails in winter, or the Sanssouci – a stunning specimen made largely of glass.

The enjoyment is the same; it is just that the city in summer is now drifting past you softly and beautifully. Perhaps an expert guide is at your side, perhaps there is an excursion ashore awaiting you, but in any case we will be there to accompany you on your tour with haute cuisine and high spirits.
